Periferi Atölye'den
Post Studio: Yararsız Soruların Yersiz Cevapları
8 Mart-12 Mayıs 2014

Hush Gallery, bağımsız sanat kolektifi Periferi’nin “Post-Studio:Yararsız Soruların Yersiz Cevapları’ isimli sergisine ev sahipliği yapıyor. Farklı disiplinlerdeki üretimlerini çakıştıran Alper T. İnce, cins ve Rafet Arslan bir süredir kolektifin atölye çatısını oluşturuyorlar. Birlikte “atölye” mefhumuna odaklanarak yeni sorular bulup cevaplarını arıyorlar.

Yıkım 2011, Gerçeklik Terörü, Ubik Project gibi eleştirel dozu yüksek, oldukça ses getiren projelere imza atan Periferi, birlikte ürettikleri, çatıştıkları, beslendikleri, sorular sordukları çalışmalarını şimdi de Yeldeğirmeni semti ile buluşturuyor.

Sanatçılar bu projede;

Heykeller müzeden kaçmak için neler planlar?
En çok spekülasyon hangi alanda yapılır?
Demokrasi deney tüpüne sığar mı?
Emlak piyasasını şehvete düşüren şey nedir?
Bayrakların ağırlığı ne kadardır?
Peki kaç beden satılık?
Cennete gitmek için ölmek şart mı?

...gibi yararsız soruların yersiz cevaplarını aramaya soyunuyor.

Periferi, “Yararsız Soruların Yersiz Cevapları” başlıklı sergisi ile ayrı kanallardan ama aynı kaynaktan çıkan soruları Hush Gallery’nin duvarlarında çoğaltma denemesine “yanıtlardan çok soruların sihrine hala inananları” davet ediyor.

Periferi Workshop in Hush Gallery with “Post-Studio”!

Hush Gallery is hosting the exhibition entitled “Post-Studio: Irrelevant Answers for Pointless Questions” by the independent art collective Periferi between the dates “8 March and 12 May 2014”. Alper T. İnce, Cins and Rafet Arslan, whose productions in various disciplines overlap, have been building the workshop structure of the collective. Post-Studio exhibition where they focus on the concept of “workshop”, find new questions and search for their answers together, can be visited in Yeldeğirmeni Hush Gallery everyday between 11:00 and 19:00.

Periferi, the creator of projects rich in critical dose, causing overwhelming impression such as Destruction 2011, Terror of Reality, Ubik Project brings the works produced together, in conflict, nurtured by the questions they asked to the pacesetter neighborhood of resistance: Yeldeğirmeni.

The artist search for the irrelevant answers for pointless questions such as:

What do sculptures plan to escape from the museum?
In which area are the most speculations done?
Can democracy fit in a test tube?
What is that thing which strikes lust into real estate market?
How much do flags weigh?
Well then how many bodies are for sale?
Do you have to die to go to heaven?

Periferi invites “those who still believe in the magic of questions, rather than answers” to try to reproduce the questions which come from different channels but the same source, with their exhibition entitled “Irrelevant Answers for Pointless Questions” on the walls of Hush Gallery.
